Pages Survey interstitial page
Overview
Use survey interstitial pages to separate subsections of questions in a repeating section.
Each subsection should contain questions on a different topic.
For example, in a repeating section that collects information about each person in a household, you might have subsections for:
- education
- employment history
- health
Important information:
To introduce a section of a survey, use a survey section introduction page.

This pattern should only be used in a repeating section.
If a repeating section is not used, and the question topic changes enough to require a guidance page, start a new section.
Do not use this pattern for guidance that is question specific. This should be provided on question pages.
If the guidance is too detailed to be included on a question page, the question should be rephrased so that it is more user friendly.
How to use this pattern
Survey interstitial pages are used in a repeating section to provide guidance and introduce subsections of questions.
The guidance on the interstitial page should be relevant to every question within that subsection.
