Colours

This section provides guidance on which colours to use when creating a chart or visualisation at the Office for National Statistics (ONS). This includes detailed information on using colours in charts and our standard category colour palette.

More detailed guidance will be added in future on a wider range of colour palettes, including colours for specific categories and colours for maps. In the meantime, this guidance can be accessed on our Notion page on chart colours (opens in a new tab)
